On October 27, several GADD members traveled together to Washington, D.C. for a day filled with design inspiration and networking.
The first stop was the Lutron Experience Center, where members explored the latest in smart lighting and shading technology. The interactive showroom showcased how design and innovation come together to create dynamic, energy-efficient environments that enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
Afterward, the group visited the National Building Museum for a private docent-led tour, gaining a deeper appreciation for the museum’s extraordinary architecture and its exhibits that celebrate the art, science, and social impact of the built environment.
The day offered an engaging blend of education, inspiration, and camaraderie—reflecting GADD’s mission to connect professionals across the design and build community through shared experiences.
