Now in its 28th year of publishing regional magazines, e-newsletters, and digital campaigns that enhance the local reader/consumer lifestyle experience, What’s Up? Media, Inc. proudly continues to share the stories of our communities and help local businesses succeed in their marketing goals. Since its founding in 1997, the company has grown from publishing the flagship What’s Up? Annapolis monthly magazine to three additional house publications (What’s Up? Central Maryland, What’s Up? Eastern Shore, and What’s Up? Weddings), plus several ancillary resource guides (The Navy Guide to Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Directory).

Over these many years, we’ve greatly enjoyed sharing meaningful and engaging content with our readers. Environmental issues, home technologies, the latest in healthcare, local personalities, entertainment, and stories of our shared culture come to life in print articles and online, all backed by award-winning writing, professional photography, and contemporary design. Hallmark service campaigns include our annual Home Excellence Awards, Best of Annapolis, Leading Lawyers, Top Doctors, Top Dentists, and Excellence in Nursing honors.

All publications are elite-quality, glossy-print magazines that are direct mailed to a hyper-targeted, upscale readership with spending power. As a member of the City & Regional Magazine Association (CRMA), What’s Up? Media adheres to industry standards of excellence and is backed with third-party audited data by the Circulation Verification Council (CVC).
